Tips fo easy install
Air cleaner torque specs should be in the instructions I think.
I KNOW you've seen it 1000 times in other threads bud, but pick up a service manual. Best $50 you will ever spend on your bike. Just saying, lol.
Good luck and post some pics when you're done!

Don't forget lubrication....A 6 pack of your favorite brew will make the job go smoother and more enjoyable. Super easy job to do.
(1) If you are using O2 sensors get yourself some anti seize and put it on the threads.
(2) Some BLUE loctite on the mounting bolts might help ( not on the exhaust nuts)
(3) WIPE all finger prints of the pipes with windex before starting.
(4) More lubrication after your are done will also help. Now sit back and look at the job you just did and enjoy.
Cheers.

+1 on what coronerrpm advises!
If you can get one of those flexible extensions, it will make is so much easier to get to that one nut on the rear cylinder ...
Something like this: http://www.stanleyworks.ae/product_d...jectID=86-001#
Also I'd use a 1/4 inch drive, that way not so easy to put too much torque on the nuts and bolts. I have put a little of anti seize on the exhaust nuts too, doesn't seem to harm and they are still nice and tight after one year.
from the manual:
Tighten the exhaust system as follows:
a. Tighten the top nut of the front cylinder head
exhaust flange to 9-18 in-Ibs (1.0-2.0 Nm). Tighten
the lower nut to 100-120 in-Ibs (11.3-13.6 Nm).
Final tighten the top nut to 100-120 in-Ibs
(11.3-13.6 Nm).
b. Repeat the previous step on the exhaust flange nuts
of the rear cylinder .
For the air filter, all nuts and screws are 36-60 in-Ibs (4.1-6.8 Nm). A bit of blue loctite will help here.

What model you putting those goodies on ? Naked VO2 ? Got a air filter cover yet for the VO2 ? Unless your keeping the football of course. If not and it's the blue cone shaped (5 3/8 " outer end) most after market orginal football AC inserts will fit right on the end of the filter if you want to keep the filter exposed.
