I used a Softbrake bracket to put it below the brake light. Also you might consider the touring signal bar for your rear signals, its very classy. Not sure if it will fit your bike, I'd ask a dealer, sometimes there are parts that fit but are not listed among the models that fit on the web site. (I know this from experience)

But the bike looks tremendous, great job.

Thanks for all the input!! The laydown plate bracket has been ordered after viewing some others that have it...as far as the rear turn signals, I like the oem ones I have now but I am changing the lenses to red, but I am searching for the same style bar just not as wide. I am also thinking of switching out the oem football for the Nostalgic round chrome cover with the engraved bar and shield logo. I think it looks kinda old school should look good I think!

The MOCO and Kuryakyn both sell a shorter rear signal bar...
