hello, I live in France
my bike is a Heritage 2013 50000km

all maintenance including tires has been made by HD

August 17 HD Gd Lyon has made the 48000km maintenance and changed the rear tire for a new one
August 30 my wife and me stopped at Maam Cross (Galway Ireland) when opportunely a friend of mine told me something wrong was happening with my rear wheel
the rear rim was cut (20 cm opening) (see attachement)
I had no impact or collision since I bought the bike; we had no pothole in Ireland as in France.
The bike has been transported to HD DUBLIN and we have been obliged to hire a car during reparation time (3 days 305.50euros)
September 2 I met the dealer and technicians HD Dublin: they never have seen that;they said that a pothole makes a different dammage to the rim nothing to do with that case.
HD Dublin has been very efficient and has changed the rear wheel plus a new tire but they only had a black rear wheel.
Invoice 1067.72 euros
because the bike is no longer under warranty, HD France refuses to make any compensation and my dealer does'nt want to pay for.
Does anybody has already heard of a similar case?
any latent defect ? (strenge after 50000km)
