transmission mounting hardware
hey folks,
so i'm in the middle of doing frame off complete restoration on a '91 FXSTS and it's time for me to mount the tranny into the frame, and everywhere i look is telling me to use button head bolts....
i'd like the mounting bolts to match the hex head bolts that i'm going to use for the engine
i mean, any reason why stock were button heads?
....security thing, maybe?
i would surely like to use chrome hex heads, if i can
any advice?

If there is no clearance issues and the grade is right use what you want.
