when i first started hearing the noise i thought i was hitting a rock in the road that i didn't see. I would always look back and not see anything laying or bouncing in the road. Well recently i replaced the rear tire on my ride and when i had it all apart i had noticed that the caliper slide rubber was dry. i just but a little of bit of brake pad backing grease on the rubber portion and i realized today that i haven't heard the Clopping noise i was hearing over bumps. I in no way thought i was fixing the noise, i just thought i was doing a little preventive lubing..


just throwing that out there for you folks who might be hearing this same sound intermittently..

 

no one else has this noise ? hmmm..
