Default Arlen Ness Extension + Ext Forward Controls???

Sup fellas, first post on the forum. I just bought an 09 train (1st harley, couldnt be happier)
Anyway, I'm 6'5" 36" inseam so its a little cramped in stock form and I already have the 3" arlen ness kit coming to move out the stock controls. The kit looks to just be blocks that move them out, would I be able to buy either a +1-2" forward control kit and put those on the A.N. kit?? If so that should stretch me out quite a bit, the only things I could think about in which could cause a problem would be the rod connecting to the shifter and a new braided cable for the brake line. Any input would help guys, I've done a decent amount of reading on the forum already and thanks in advance.

You would probably need a longer brake line than the kit comes with and you would definitely need a longer shifter rod. You may want to look into the jaybrake controls which you can totally adjust the position on. Maybe the plates plus their more forward controls could get you into a comfy set up.

We are the same height and inseam and I have the Ness extensions om my 07 night train. It is better but could be further. you could get a seat that pushes you back further. I cut down my stock seat but I hear if you install the tall boy seat it pushes you up and back 2 inches. I didn't want to be higher in the saddle so I didn't get it.

Lmao!! Thanks for the help guys, do appreciate it. The stock isn't really too bad but I didn't know if anyone else had tried it. If kuryakyn swingwings weren't so ugly I would look at those. Im planning on buying forward controls anyone and didn't know if it would work, prolly look pretty damn weird anyway!

the HD extended forward kit would probably be the best bet as far as compatibility with the Ness Kit. As for the kick stand, while you're on the Ness site, pick up the rear mount kick stand and you don't have to worry about it working on the forwards...with the brake line, you may just have to order it seperately. If you go with the cycle visions extensions, they don't come with the brake line. The Ness kit does so essentially you'd be paying for a part you don't need, just a thought...
