Default Control Extensions

So I'm every bit of 6'2" and the train deff wasn't made for someone with legs as long as mine. As I was looking for extended controls I came across a kit that just has a black billet plate with the mounting holes were the controls mount now and 3 inches forward. Seeing as this is much cheaper its enticing. Is there any reason I should steer clear of this though? Whether it be safety or performance.

I used an extension kit on a previous bike and was very pleased with it. It's a great alternative to forward controls if you're on a budget. I say go for it and enjoy the comfort.

Did you ever buy the extended controls you talked about above? I'm 6'4" and I have the same problem with my Standard. I was wanting to get the exteded controls but they are so much. What kit are you refering to? Where can you get it and how much does it run?

If anyone else could comment on any experience with these it would be much appreciated. I am tired of having my knees in my chest, lol.

yeah I deff need extended cause when I prop my feet up, the back of legs actually rest on the pegs. So the bottom of my boots stick at least 6in past the peg.
