Thumbs up UPDATE: got the new xhaust in...

So I am running rush slip-ons right now. I got my Bassani black turn out Pro-streets in and I am going to put them on tomorrow. This is my first time putting exhaust on a non-shovelhead Harley but I think it should go smoothly. I just hope I did not screw myself by taking the chance that they will fit the xbones even with floorboards. Keeping my fingures crossed, and if anyone has any tips I will def be thankful.
UPDATE:
They fit.

Should I get new gaskets for the exhaust heads? Should I use a small bit of copper hi-temp rtv as well? I heard there are two kinds of gaskets; The kind that take a cone shaped header, and the kind that take a flat one. Anyone know anything about that and what bassani requires?

yeah get new gaskets, but not the SE ones. They seem to leak more than the regular old gaskets....

+1 on new gaskets and you might get new exhaust nuts too. A few guys (me included) found that they had lost one or two a few months after install. I know lost nuts let the jokes begin. I hope that you ordered the heat shields or you're gonna wrap them because those pipes are hot as hell without them.

I found I lost my nuts, but that was only when I was in a relationship. I'm single and got those back with some red loctite.
