Funny what age does to you. I have always made speed runs in every vehicle I have ever owned just to see how fast they would go. But now that I'm older it just isn't that important anymore. I've had my Limited for over two years and haven't done the speed run yet and probably never will. It's the first vehicle in my life that I haven't maxed out at one point or another. It's been over 100, maybe 110, a few times but has never been to it's limit. My Softail maxed out around 115 by the speedo.

Default Top speed on a FatBoyLo

Well it's not something I'm going to repeat but I have had mine to 118 MPH by speedo. Cool of the night and a long straight run. Fork fangs, full Heritage style windscreen, saddle bags/ feet on the floor boards and my 220 lb along for the ride. I wasn't fully rolled in to the throttle and was in 6th gear. But it was one of those "got to" try moments. 107 cu in, Red Shift .575 lift cams, ported heads, 2010 twin cam engine on
T Max fuel management. The amount of mosquitoes stuck on the forward facing parts was like nothing I've seen before or since. Hahaha. Just once.

My speedometer read 80 mph a couple of times. How fast I was really going is another question...
That's fast enough for me at this stage of my life!
