Default UOAs

It seems from reading many posts the majority of owners do not run oil for the recommended interval of 5000 miles. Does anyone have UOAs showing the oil can't make it? Dyno vs syn? For full disclosure, I cut my VWs OCI in half, from 10k to 5k.

I run Amsoil and change my motor oil and filter every 2500 miles or so. I put on 5-6 k each year, so it's cheap insurance to make sure you are treating the heart of your bike the best you can. I read in the oil testing reports in here that even the good syn oils start to degrade a little after 2500 miles, still good enough to run, but again, cheap insurance for my baby! Ride safe.

I run the 5k. I have to believe the recommended is conservative and not the other way around. Same in my cars 7-10k.
All Synthetic.

+1 Even with regular oil the 5K interval is on the conservative side.

I change the synthetic oil in all three holes + a MoCo Oil Filter every 3K. But this is almost certainly overkill; particularly given my conservative to moderate riding habits. But mostly I suppose it's that I just like knowing that I have a well oiled finely tuned machine. So far my attention to the machine seems to be reciprocated.
