Default Crash Bar/Engine Guard problems!!! HELP PLEASE!

I just got my lindby Unibar for my 2005 Heritage Springer.... but the crash bar is preventing me from turning my bars all of the way to the left or right... has anyone had a problem with this? i just read about a crossbones having the same issue...

Has anyone had any luck or have any ideas of a fix?

sorry, i dont have a photo. i have no lights outside right now.
The forks (in this case, my springer) when turned as far to the right or left as it can, is hitting the crash bar. Its hitting across the top of the crash bar.

I just read where a guy with a Cross Bones was having the exact same problem. But Lindby says that the part fints from yrs 2000- present on all softails.

Just wondering if anyone has a fix, or if anyone else has even had this problem.

Thanks

The problem is the Lindby bar is not compatible with your Springer front end. Return the item.

That Lindby bar sticks out further than most. Have you contacted them? I bet they have another bar that will fit. Or, maybe not.

Not saying this to discourage you but it did you a favor. Thats the most uncomfortable cras bar made. It looks unique but thats all. I had one on my heritage and once people rode it and felt how uncomfortable it was, I couldnt give it away. Get a regular bar with pegs and you will be much happier im sure but if not I would definetly call Lindby and see whats up with that issue

I've got the Lindby Multi-Bar and love it, no issues with turning. I didn't buy it for the "built-in" pegs, dug the look was all.

You got the wrong bar, 110-1 is for Softails with telescopic forks and 111-1 is for the Springers (X Bones, Hertage Springer etc)

Call who ever you bought it from and get it exchanged
