Default more progress more pics too

ok i went to oil thread left more confused then when i got there
took advice of forum member went w/ mobil1
even bought a fancy filler upper w/ a on-off valve 4 bucks auto zone

down the hatch

gettin sas ready

ok now fun stuff,i took sas zip tied filter& switch linr together just barley taunt so i dont pinch the lines

put sas in front side 1st(toward front tire)

put the other side of rubber boot on with lock nuts just snug
till i do some adjustments

puttin on the other side (toward rear tire) use a jack to help ya line up everything no washers just the bolts *per gary @ sas***

close up, these bolts went in 1000 times easier

& a motocross heartland shot

thats it for now tune in tomorrow for switch hook up and possibly you tube video

BTW DREW
talked to greg at cccs the dampner is built in , it has a disc w a valve built in of some sorts that
pressurizes when you hit a bump the air travels at a slower rate to create dampning effect so that's new

also the new compressor has better seals so its 10x quietier than previous models hope this helps

you sit up there for 10-20 minutes
i got stuck on it riding back from chi-town harley with no seat, that wasnt all that much fun also all the traffic comming down hill thru lockport with all the stop lights. this was at about 330 on a tuesday.
what town do u live in, right now im in shorewood but moving to minooka.
I'd love to join but not sure if im gonna be able to. supposed to close on my house friday but got pushed back till tuesday so i have a tone of last minute crap to take care of and packing. its a small possibility tho so ill let you know. if you can PM me any details you know about it and then ill just respond there so i dont overtake your thread with it.

Mike, You did add anti-seize on the shoulder of the rear bolts?
Makes removal easier next time.
