When on holiday in South of France in August, my girlfriend got uncomfortable driving her Streetbob in the (sometimes) crazy French traffic
It ended up that on our return, she decided not to ride anymore herself, but would ride with me on the Crossbones.
But when we passed last weekend at a local Harley-dealer ( open-house weekend ) we saw a new, superb 2011 Softail convertible up for sale.....
so we traded in our two bikes and will pick up the Softail tomorrow or saturday !
Only thing we already changed was putting on Vance & Hines Big Radius exhausts
Will post some pics of it after the wknd...

 

Congrats on your new model ..... must say i found the french traffic better than other countries for bikers having been round france clockwise and anti clockwise a few times and also done the south of France a few times you must have just had a bad one off! ..... ride safe

 

Congrats on the new ride! I live a little west of Boston, Ma.,USA and it is nearly a suicide mission to go into Boston on a bike...I avoid it if possible. So I can understand where you are coming from on the CRAZY driving!!!! Both of you enjoy your new ride and be safe!

In So Cal here all I gotta deal with is waiters texting agents as they drive, plastic models fixing their hair and makeup when they drive, and power lawyers thinking they own the whole damn road. Oh and the smog and traffic. How I love all the smog and traffic....
