I installed extended hardbags using CycleVisions tailbag mounts on my '06 Deluxe. I am looking to get bag guards. I have searched the forum and have found three part numbers that people have said they use:

49261-00 Rear Saddlebag Guard
49360-08 Softail Saddlebag Guard
49258-00A Heritage Springer Saddlebag Guard

I've also read where some guys have had to remove the seat rail to get the bag guard to fit. I really don't want to remove the seat rail because I have added the Springer seat rail with back rest. Would someone point me to the bag guard that will fit without having to remove the seat rail? I know it can be done, a buddy has done it. However I can't remember the part number.

After a bit more research, I believe I'll go with the Springer guard, 49258-00A. Anybody running these with hardbags and could post a picture?
