Default saddle bag guard help???

My wife still has trouble with the rear saddle bag guard rubbing the back of her legs. Is there a way to use the #49087-01 Comfort profile rear saddle bag guard on an ultra with the side rails? I want to keep my side rails. Any suggestions??? Dan

My wife is also on the shorter side (5') and I ended up going with the Newer Road Glide Saddlebag Support on the FLHRCI.. That & Kuryakyns adjustable pegs Worked Out GREAT

I put a set of the nostalgic saddlebag guards on mine. They clamp around the guard instead of going through it. Easier to clean the saddlebags and gives a little different look.

Fathertime, I sent you my email address. If that falls through on searching for them. Could you find the part number for them? Is there a way of taking the newer comfort profile guard and drill holes in them to make them fit??? Thanks Dan

My woman complainted about the guards so i deleted them, I wanted them off anyways, now she said the bag rubs her legs?? [:@]
Going to try pegs next, probably have to get adjustable ones.

My wife has the same problem and can't ride for long periods with me. I'm looking at the Kuryakyn adjustable pegs for my next purchase. Several friends have them and say they make a night & day difference for the passenger. I've heard that different bag guards work well but in some cases your wifes leg will still rub on the saddlebag...thus scratching it.

Good luck.
