Default 92 fxstc front end question

I got 1992 softail custom when im running down the road and hit a bump or a little pot hole or even the 1" curb at the end of the driveway the front end on my bike bangs bad almost like my forks are bottoming out? wil changing the fork oil help ?

That's the famous FX front end bang, that all 3 (90,99, & 05) of my FX Softail bikes,2 of which I bought new,did! I think it's just the nature of the beast, as they did it from day 1. I wouldn't worry about it.
