Default Just ordered my jockey shift

I just ordered my LA Jockey shift kit for my 95 fatboy. Gonna throw that on and put on some drag bars and call it good for my winter mods. I feel like something isn't working with my bike (sig pic) any suggestions?

Was it a jockey shift or a hand shift by the tank? I always looked at the jockey shift as a bit uncomfortable, and to be honest, out of my driving skill compared to that of a tank shift. I want to see the pix!

I think it's lookin pretty good! You're gonna love the jockey, just did a homemade one on mine. I'm still getting used to it, but it's a ton of fun so far. Maybe roll the apes forward a bit for a little attitude, pc the lowers, change the boards for forward controls?

good luck and glad you're going for it. What is your riding season in Alaska? Typically and not what a true iron-butt does...

Usually April to mid October, at least in southeast Ak where I live, up north it's shorter. My riding season is anytime I can get on the road.

I'm actually thinking about losing the apes and going with a set of pullback drag bars. Something about my bike just doesn't look right to me and I've been contemplating it for a couple weeks and I'm stumped. Maybe adjusting the apes will help.
