[quote=Green Hornet;9432328]Harley charlie, your deuce is sick! What have you done to that fender? looks like its been cut down a bit. Nicest deuce i've seen.

thanks for the compliment. I have a ton of work in that rear fender its been cut down the middle to roll the top down so when you shorten it it doesn't look way too tall. if you go to my garage, you can see the tailight that I did, the old harley logo #1 is the tailight, flush mounted, and the turn signals are in the ends of the struts, I move the rear brake to the left side between the hub and the rear sprocket, to give a better view of the wheel. frame has been completely smoothed, I gusseted all the corners with a soft curved piece of steel, (actually I boxed the curves in the lower portion of the frame), I cut out the gas cap hole and welded it up and installed a flush mounted gas cap. front fender is a fat cat cut down to the ground and radiused the mounting flanges to again a soft curve. it goes on (and on, and on!!!) but I really like the bike, its been in 5 mags and has won a number of shows, including easy riders show here in san diego. and I rode it to that, (and all) shows.

CVO Deuce.

IMO, still the best looking CVO built to this day.
Mind blowing in 03' and 04'.

Harletcharlie,
Nice ride!

Windvest. Absolutely the best aftermarket part on my bike.

i haven't fiquired out out to do pictures yet. $3,000 was engine mods. i replaced all levers, grips, pegs, covers, mirrors, wheels, gas caps, seat, sprocket, rotors, exhaust. added bags, hardware, lights, fork brace, lug rack, center stand,w.shield,eng.guard. in all, i've bought 73 accessories not including the eng rebuild. even with all these, it does not look like a cluttered complete make-over. i 'll see if i can fiquire out how to get some pictures.

I had problems also trying to post pictures until I joined Photobucket. Upload your pictures that you want to post to a Photobucket album that you've created. Make sure you designate the album as a "public" album. Then click on the picture you want to upload to a post and copy the "IMG" code link and paste that link to your post at the location you want the picture to appear. I'm sure there are lots of different ways to post a picture but this way worked for me.

Have to disagree with Charlie; we put 37k on by the time I got the RKC. Mustang seats. Loved it too much to sell when I got the King...learned that when I let my 03 Deuce get away!!!

I guess I just like riding one up on mine. I do have a road glide that I travel with, so I've gotten a little spoiled. when the wife and I rode two up on the deuce way back when, I felt kinda cramped, and she's little (100 lbs!) but as long as it works for you, hey I'm all good with it too!!

=================================================

When the Son and I bought our new bikes in 07, he got a Deuce.

There was Dr in INDY that got also got a Deuce about the same time.
It was in the dealer shop at least 5 weeks building it up.

Last time I seen it was the 4th week the dealer had it.

I was told it had about every option that HD offered for the Deuce put on it.
I mean the whole front end was chrome; chrome rear end: 180 tire kit, 110 BB kit, heads, cams, new mag wheels, custom seat, custom paint.

Like money was no object.

The last time I saw it the Service manger told me he was close to $35 into it and not done yet. Yes a lot of it was Labor $$$

I am thinking, just buy a CVO.. But they told me it would just be parked next the the other two Harley's he already had and yes one was a CVO.
