I put one on my '07 Heritage, it was a genuine Harley product. It was great for upright parking and for cleaning, but it was a little disturbing when it would scrape and bottom out on not so hard turns. Usually when bouncing down slightly. I took it off & got rid of it. I didn't need the extra ten lbs under there either.
