The OEM seat on my '09 Heritage is OK. I can live with it, but would like to find something better. But I'm a big guy (6'4", 270) and I need a big seat. I just sent a C&C seat back. It was very nice, very well made, but it was too narrow for me. So here are my parameters:

Can't sit me closer than stock seat

Can't sit me higher than stock seat

Must be as wide as stock seat (or very close)

So C&C is out, Mustang is out (sits higher). Any other suggestions?

 

I'd try an Air Hawk. Seems like the dimensions of the stock seat are exactly what you want (alternative can't be closer, higher, or narrower) so it's just the elusive comfort you're after.

If the Air Hawk doesn't work, resell it and have a custom shop mod your stock seat - change the foam, reshape it, add gel, whatever you need to feel more comfy.
