Looking for a new seat
I'm looking for a new seat that is more narrow than the stock seat but is comfortable. I don't know if the reach seat has the comfort. I was thinking sundowner. Is it more narrow than the stock? I need a seat to drop me just alittle or is alittle narrower.

Contact MeanCityCycles.com. They will redo your stock seat to your specifications. Why pay $300+ for a new seat, when you can pay 1/2 of that and get what you really want?

I have a reach seat, and had the stock seat done by meancity, comfort on both is about the same. The reach seat is tight it moves you forward so reduced space. The redone stock seat dosn't , but meancity can if you want them to. Its worth checking them out first.

+1. Me too. I need a seat that is narrower in the front at the point which doesn't press on the inner thigh region, especially when using the highway pegs. Jeesh!!

All my reading says the Sundowner is more popular than Reach.Mean City gets a lot of good remarks.I had the same issues as you speak of.I went with Corbin and could not be happier.My bride "El Cheapo" says it was absolutley worth it.It did make my legs longer and my butt is not complaining period.

I have the Sundowner on my 2008 EGS. It does move you a little lower but I think a little back as well. Going from memory here, but I think it is narrower in the front. Comfort-wise the Sundowner is great. Firm but not hard. Holds me in a great riding poistion. I would compare it to a Corbin which are really firm seats.
