Only so much can be said about a T-Bag. Haven't seen a photo of the luggage rack/sissy bar either so there's not much to work with here.

Here is a pic from a few years ago with the sissy bar backpack bag from Walmart ($30) that I was very happy with. This was packed for a weekend trip to Leesburg, FL.

If you are travelling alone put it on the seat behind you, nice backrest. I have the HD backpack expensive but it does have a waterproof cover. It only took me a year to find it.

Plus, it needs to be waterproof (or at least have a rain cover) just in case.

What have you all had good experiences with?

Hard to say. There are three manufactured bags and a cardboard box with a turned wooden bowl for the wife on top. Lets see:
1) First there's the big touring bag (maybe Kury),
2) somewhere in there is a dry-bag,
3) then the roll bag,
4) then the cardboard box.

I shot this picture in PA on my way back from a 13 day camping trip to Sturgis last summer. (Notice it was raining?)
