Default home made baffle(for bassani road range)

here is a little story for you guys,as some of you know i got me a bassani road range exhaust for my fat boy,I love the pipe sound and all,one day i was messing around and i pool the baffle out,I got my calipers and measure it i found out at was way to small 2-1/4 pipe by the baffle area it was shrinking down under 2 inch,I didn't like that,i did some research and i can not find anything i like, even i call bassani they offer to make larger baffle for me that was cool but i didn't order one, instant i decide to made my own.
I got me a aluminum peace i turn it on the lathe at work,i got me a stainless still 2-1/2 pipe from the local muffler shop measure and cut everything for perfect fit from the collector to the baffle so is smooth flow unlike the stock one mismatch gap that create a turbulence, anyway i install the home made baffle as a strait pipe with out holes in it,i start the bike way to loud and deep sound sounded great old school sound,i went for a little ride, and low end tq was completely gone FLAT, the top end was great pool so hard all the way up to 6100.
i went back home i didn't like the flat low end ,i pool the baffle out and i got me a 1/4 drill and i drill bunch a hols on the end of the baffle about 5 inch area,i wrap it with fiber glass and re install it,I start the bike still on the loud side but rich even deeper tone much better than b4,went for a ride again and the TQ is BACK the top end is still there, the sound is great, and i am one happy camper.b4 you ask about video clip and picture, hold your horses,I was to tired and cold to mess with that,I will pool the muffler out today to fix a little leak i have and i pool the baffle out to snap some shots.
Cheers.

i have always been interested in modified baffles and how factory baffles work.
do you notice any change in the relationship between rpms and speed or did they stay the same?

the new bigger baffle runs stronger than the stock baffle everywhere thru rpm ranges, from 3200 to 6100 is noticeably stronger,I cant not wait to get it on the dyno,i am positive that this think picked up some power.
