Nope. Just sounds like bad luck, assuming your mechanic is competent ...

I'm beyond mad, just mad laughter maybe. Today speedo came in and it was installed, but has not solved the problem. I have been calling HD customer service and letting them know what's been going on and have been telling them that we're already into the lemon law here that does apply to cycles. About time to do it in writing.

Would the crank position sensor be bad? Simple enough to determine.

Just a suggestion but a lot of electrical problems are just a bad ground. Sometimes the simple things are overlooked.

Just for curiositys sake what is the BCM? Is it only for the ABS/Security system bikes?

I'm just wondering if I need to be concerned or not with my non abs 2012 Deluxe. Thanks

Thx guys, since it's under warranty I'm letting the dealer service department do all of the diagnosis. They told me they were going to check all of the connections early on so you'd think they would have checked the fundamental stuff earlier. I wouldn't be concerned unless you're having similar problems. I'm just glad I had not done any mods yet, because I'm sure any mods would have been blamed for these problems.

Now they're going to replace the "harness". IDK but sounds pretty major
