2001 softail heritage. bike was running before i replaced the fuel filter and regulator. now bike wont start. cranks but no fuel. everthing looks ok fuel pump primes

 

I'm sure you might have done this but check the fuse again.

Fuel filter in backwards?

How do you know there's no fuel? (i.e. where did you check it).

Do you have spark?

Answer the simple questions first then if you don't have a shop manual to check your wiring, find someone that does.
