Default Tuner advice

I'm looking for some advice on what tuner I should go with, and from countless hours of reading on several forums, I thought I check with you guys and see what advice you could share. I have a 2008 FLSTC and all I have done to it thus far was install a set of Rush slip ons shortly after I purchased it, and at that same time the dealer installed a stage 1 flash. I recently purchased a set of Big Shots Long to put on the bike, as well as a Arlen Ness Stage 1 Super Sucker. I debated on whether or not I should also get a tuner, since the bike already has a Harley Stage 1 flash, but from talking to people and from reading, I feel I probably should. I have no future plans to do anything else to the bike. Anyway, my first choice for a tuner was to get a TTS. From searching for the past month, it has proven impossible to locate one, as all the vendors claim they are waiting for TTS to start shipping their newest product. I'd like to go ahead and install the pipes/air filter but I don't want to wait for who knows how long until the new TTS tuners ship. So, my question is what other tuner would you guys recommend? Of course my local dealer recommends the Screaming Eagle, since that is what they sell. I have been doing some reading today about the DynoJet Power Vision that Fuel Moto sells. It looks like a good product that is simple to use and I have read some good things about it. Does anyone on here have experience with it? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If all you're gonna do is the pipes and AC, I strongly suggest the Dobeck DFO. Basically turns your EFI into carb. All it does is add fuel based on engine load. Very simple to use. All you need is a small screwdriver. I had one for a year and a half and it worked perfectly. Crisper throttle response, no decel pop, great MPG. It doesn't use maps or computers to tune. Only reason I changed was install of bigger cams with plans to go to a big bore kit. gonna get a lot ofdifferent opinions on this, tho

I installed the Dynojet Power Vision last night after I installed the V&H Big Radius 2:2 and the difference was night and day. Additionally if you wish, there are so many things you can do with your map with the Power Vision it's awesome. You can also just flash with PV and be done.

Also, there's a pretty good thread in the tech forum under tuners that explains what the capabilities of the PV are.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Redheadfred, the only thing I don't like about the pc V is the fact that it piggybacks (from my understanding). I'd prefer to have a tuner I can connect/disconnect when needed.

Yeah Im not sure what the benefit is one way or the other there . One thing with the pc V if i want to put my bike back stock to sell or whatever I can do that . With the Power Vision you cant , well you can but it will cost you another $100 bucks to clear it . Not trying to beat you up about your choice just throwing everything out there for ya

Oh, I was under the impression that the Power Vision could save your stock or existing program and you could re-install it anytime you wanted. Perhaps I mis-interpreted what I read.

You can but you cant use that tuner on another bike without sending it back and having it cleared . I would call the guys at fuel moto and talk to them , thats where I got my pc5 from and they are a awesome group of guys .

Nope you are right, you can just flash the ECM with the map you saved. However, once used on your bike the Power Vision will only work on your bike. So you will have to sell it with it.
