Default Mirror Chrome Solid Disc Wheel

Looking at some new rims for my Heritage.

Besides the rims what else will I need to buy?
Can I use my exsisting rotor's, tires etc. etc.
I know this is going to cost me.

Does anyone have pics of their bike with these rims?
How would they look with white walls?

I don't know about white walls, but those are nice rims. Looks like you can see right through them.

Get the chrome spacers, rotors and pulley too. It will look silly with chrome wheels and stock rotors

Are you sure you want solid rims? The amount of side buffeting they cause is one of the reasons we traded the 05 cvo fatboy.

Have you tried CL? I picked up a pair of take offs with the 1/2" diameter holes for $450 chromed. Instead of buying a new pulley I just bought the chrome cover. Chrome rotors I will do when I buy tires next. I read that some riders think the solid rims have more buffeting. I am not convinced that is true. I haven't had any trouble with mine while riding. They are much easier to clean than stock rims.

I also changed out the wheels on my Heritage so I could run the tires tubeless.

I have a HD textured solid chrome on the rear and a HD textured 6 spoke on the front. I didn't put a 6 spoke on the rear because it cost more and you can't see much of the rear wheel anyway.

Like you, I am up in arms about white walls on my Fat Boy. My model Fat Boy has chrome solid discs as well, but they are not completely chrome, just about 1/3 of the rim. The center section is still satin. That being said, I think the chrome "might" be enough to work with wide white walls. I think the satin wheels don't look good with WWW's. I only have about 6K on the tires so I am hoping to find people like you to give it a shot and help me make the descision.

That is a sharp looking rim for sure. Cant think of a single bike I have ever seen with one.
