Roland Sands Clarity or PM merc air cleaner?
I like the look of the clarity AC, but does the inside of the window get dirty? I want the round AC, and like the clarity, vintage PM merc look, and Carlini too. Any ideas????
FYI, I have the Carlini High Roller AC on a Softail. After a year, the paint has started to peel. I called Carlini and they offered to replace as soon as I make the drive to their place. SJ Ron
DK Custom is coming out with a line of OUTLAW Air Cleaners with Clear covers.
We have been testing them for a few months. On ours the inside of the window does NOT get dirty. BUT, we do not feed the dirty, hot, oily, air from the crankcase breathers back into the A/C like the Clairty line does.
If you look at the inside of your stock air cleaner, all that residue that is in there from feeding that oily air into the A/C will also be there on the Clarity A/C's. No way around it when you are defeating the purpose of an air cleaner by shoving that dirty air into it.
