Default Score!!!!!

I just want to brag about the killer deal I got today. I stopped into my local Indy dealer to get my chrome rotor and pulley bolts and discuss what's going on with the new DNA front wheel. He has had a heritage springer seat and rail hanging on the wall for a bit now so I figured I'd see how much he wanted for it thinking to hear $500 or so, and since I just bought a near mint springer seat only off ebay for $200 I wasn't really looking to buy.

$100 he said, the cash was outta my wallet faster than you can imagine.

I'm super excited, I've been looking all over for one and going rate seems $250 and up and that's just crazy. The seat isn't that great, looks weathered and used and the ebay one looks brand new so I'll probably just sell the one I got today.

Little clean up on the seat rail and she'll look like new again. I'm super pumped.

That has to be the most comfortable seat I've ever had. And I've had many seats on many bikes over many years. I've done 7 hours of riding in a single day with no discomfort at all.

Last summer I put a LePera low profile solo on the bike and suffered all season. Put the HS seat back on this spring and it's never coming off again.

It's worth the money you paid even if it was thrashed as long as the base is good. They can always be reupholstered.

Great score!

That's the beauty of it all, I don't need the actual seat I just needed the bar. So now I can sell the seat and likely pay for the ebay seat which is perfect and cover the rail. Hopefully have a near new HS seat with rail for $100 or less. And the look fits the Deluxe so nice I'm extremely happy. Need Springer bags though, may order some tomorrow from Boss Bags, I have a set on there now that are the 40D bags and I like em but the basket weave doesn't match the springer seat and they just look to bulky. Springer bags it is.

Have you checked out the Osprey Buffalo Indian Chief bags? Allot of them shown in the pics have fringe but you can customize them any way you want and the price is damn good for a high quality bag. Several guys on here have bought them and speak very highly of them.

I have looked at osprey. Great bags and look like great quality especially for the price but I just like the mount system on boss bags. On off so easy and not much left.

You can still order the HD springer bags from the dealer, or from Surdyke and save 20%
