Default Bike being prepared....

I have just started preparing my bike, 07' Softail Custom, for a new paint job. This will be my first full paint job that I am doing alone. I have worked in a body shop in the past but never sprayed. As I start the process, I plan on posting pictures of the ghetto booth and the painting process. Should be interesting.

Just wanted to share my excitement.

Lookin forward to seeing the setup, and the results! Might be tackling something similar this winter, curious to see what I'm going to need. Lots of pics too!

Default Updated.....some pictures

I made a little video, but can't get it to upload.
I did a test panel yesterday to see what it would look like. Don't pay attention to the crappy airbrushing or the dust and imperfections in the paint, just was a fast test panel to see color and that's it.

Not easy to spray, metallic with kandy over top of it....but am learning and should turn out just fine.

A picture just can't do the paint justice. The deep Wine Red Candy over the Black Metallic base coat.

In direct sunlight the edges really pop out at you.

It has been interesting doing my first paint job, not to mention a candy paint job for my first.
