Default Softail changes by year?

I'm sure it's been covered, but is there a FAQ or database that lists the changes to Softails (and/or specific models) by year?
I'm a Dyna guy, but in the market for a used FXST and am trying to get an idea which years to focus on. Thanks

This is all off the top of my head, but the basic line changes and not model specifics:

FI first offered in 2001.
Shortly after in 02 or 03 I think they changed up to the delphi system.
2007 was the change to 95ci from 88ci and 6 speed trannies.
IIRC, up until '06 you could still get carbed bikes. If I'm remembering it right, the model designation will have an I at the end for injected motorcycles like the FXSTDI for injuected Duece.
And I think in 2012 they put the 103B in all softails. Could be wrong on that...hell, maybe on all of it, but that's what I'm remembering right now.

Some options may differ between model lines, but I hope that's pretty accurate.

02 was the first year of Delphi in the softails and I believe everything else. The FXST got the wider rear (200mm) in 2006. 06 wheels are 3/4" axles. 07 axles are 25mm front and 3/4" rear. 08 and up are all 25mm axles.

Thanks for the replies. I like the features of the newer bikes such as 200 tire and 6 speed trans, but obviously I'd like to save a few bucks by going with an older, similar looking model. So there's the balancing act of upgrading an older bike more extensively or spending more initially on a newer bike.
Now if you'll excuse me I've got some reading to do.
