Default 2005 heritage springer question

Ok I don't hang out in the softail section very often. but I got a question. Dealer I know has a springer I love! it a 05 and has 400miles, never been titled, 103" stroker installed basically a new bike with $13,000 in add ons. its a green and black two tone. They are asking $21,000 for it. No way am I paying that for it. its a freekin 05, so what's it worth? Salesman is sending photos to me and I will upload when I get them.

If you had to sell it next month, I dont see you getting much more than $15k for it. Depends on if resale is of concern to you. If you had a stock one and $13k to spend on upgrades, would you do most of the mods this bike has? If not, you'd be better off finding a low mileage springer with few to no mods and doing it yourself. That would be my opinion.

Only mod it needs to fit my style is a set of apes. Other then that I think I would be happy. My road glide I built from the ground up. 60k later I think I am done. If my wife says no to this springer. I will be putting a 26" or a 30" on it.

I might suggest trading the wife on the springer, but its so hard to get a good price for a wife. Would probably not be a wise financial move.

Wifes don't have much street value. And your right you take a beaten when you trade them in. Especially if you knocked a couple kids out of them. Maybe I will tell her this bike is for her. Cause the is no freakin way she is riding my Road glide.

Im hoping you get the springer because I would hate to see you put a 30 on that badass RG. I think a 26 would look good but the 30 is ridiculous IMO. I remember talking to you when I was putting the bags and fender on my Deluxe and you were a lot of help. Your bike looks amazing as it is.

Yes we should! I just moved down here in April. I need some new riding buddies. I lived in Gillette, WY when we talked before.
