LED headlamp....worth the $?

I just moved from the HID to the Trucklight 7" LED last week. There is no comparison between the two. It all comes down to how much can you spend, just as with almost everything else.
As far as no lights in the corner, sure the light is compromised. But I see just fine since I can't drive into a corner at 90 mph. The bike scrapes sooner than I run out of light.

On this topic you are clueless...at least 3 times the output of my stock setup.....miss seeing a deer at night and your medical will far exceed the cost of the light
The prices are coming down because folks are catching on that they're a gimmick. Let's be real for a minute. If these LED's were the cats meow sales would be booming and costs would not be going down. LED's sell because they last forever, not for light output. But, you will never hear someone that just bought LED's say they suck. It's just human nature to say "Wow" look at how bright my new (I just paid way too much) my fancy LED's are".

If you have the deep trim ring you'll be all set. If you have the flush ring, it'll work but IMO look like *** (check out my pic). As the TL7 sticks out from the ring 1/2-3/4 of an inch. So you might want to get the deep "french" ring. I have one on order.

No issue with the Ring at all. The Trucklite does extend out about 1/4 -1/2 inch more than the HID, but it is barely noticeable with that ring.
