I go to the mother ship (HD web site) and search replacement led options for my auxiliary lamps.
Daymaker Reflector LED Auxiliary Lamps
Part Number 68000075
$360
or
4 in. Daymaker Projector LED Auxiliary Lamps
Part Number 68000172
$400
So besides $40 what is the difference?
Is there a better option then the ones from HD?
The reflectors and projectors have different bulb systems; and different design, to match whichever headlight you're running, if desired. From what I know, reflector LEDs are better than the projectors. With headlights, too. As for something better, that I couldn't help you with. I'm pretty satisfied with my projector LEDs.
What I'm NOT happy with is my reflector LED fog lights; they have a warmer color LED than the rest of my lights. However I'm finding out that it just may be a one-off problem, as a bunch of other guys have no issue, so just could be the ones that I ended up with. I'll replace them at some point. They're pricey; and they work, even though the discrepancy is annoying to me.
