1, save money. 2, buy the shotgun. 3, you have a new bike. 4, it's not just about the cool factor. 5, eats up adverse road conditions. Lastly, ride with a smile forever more!!!
Agree with Tony and others, save up and get air suspension. It was one of the first mods I did to my bike and will always be one of the best. It changes the stance of your bike drastically and also helps performance wise, best of both worlds.
Whatever I do I won't be cheap about it. My bike is too nice and already has some quality parts on it to cheap out on something as important as suspension! I'd really like the shotgun but I just really can't justify the cost at the moment.
I'm sure the shotgun is all everyone says it is. I can afford it...but I would never pay that amount of money for it. You can pick up an awesome set of Konis for your cage for less than what they're getting for the Shotgun Shock.
I wouldn't mind spending the money if I had my bike paid off but I don't. So I'm actually leaning towards a progressive setup and the. Maybe down the road I will get the shotgun.
