Please take this as it is intended; a simple FYI. When you post something, like above, there is no way of knowing which post you are referring to. Your post doesn't always end up immediately after the one you are referencing.

At the bottom right of each post are 3 buttons:
1. Reply With Quote
2. Multi-Quote This Message
3. Quick reply to this message

If you select 1 or 3 or select 2 (on one or more posts) and then New Reply, the post(s) you are referencing will appear at the top of your post. This makes it easier for others to help you so we don't have to review previous posts, especially if it is on a different page. This is good practice even if it may be obvious what you are referring to. That way there is no question.

In this particular case you are probably asking about Hoggy's A/C cover since his was the only picture shown but that isn't always the case.

It's in the pull down menu as a option for the A/C.

Thanks. Always wondered how this worked.

Here ya go!

The only thing I would recommend doing different than what is in that write up, is to remove the outside ring before you cut it. If you slip one time with the dremel (or whatever you use to cut it) the ring will be ruined. Another reason I did it that way is even if you over cut the cover, the ring will hide any mistakes when you put it back together, I used a hair dryer to gently (I used tooth picks to pry it off) remove it and then when I was all done with the cutting, I re-applied it with some 3M double sided tape.

My SE stage 1 with modified football cover...

Hoggy, thanks for the info. That was a really good write up. Unfortunately that procedure seems to be a bit outside of my skill level. I'm sure I'd fork something up. And with this project it's pretty much a one shot deal, no second chances.

And Das Fatboy, that cover looks really nice. Looks like a professional job. I just with I could find someone or somewhere that sells them already made like that.

Dude, find a friend with the tools (and the skill) and have him help you. That's basically what I did. It's really not as hard as it looks...

Very nice...I wonder if anybody has done this with the 103? Meaning still using a 12 gauge wire for the template.

I have the AN Big Sucker stage 1, but if I had to do it over I'd get the stage 2 or derby sucker kit - lots more choices in covers and better airflow for not much more cost.
