Thanks for the responses. I think the pinball machine comment was the deciding factor for me. Besides, I'm sure I can findmore practical thingsto add to my ride. I have problems with my hands getting cold sooner than most people (actual medical condition) might be looking at heated hand grips instead.
I'm sorry if that "tipped" it for you, but there is a clown around here that has LEDs all over, and underhis bike (Goldwing) and every Sunday night whenhe stops in the beach parking lot. He leaves the LED's on and some are set toflash. So to me it looks like a big a$$ bright yellow pinball machine.
Now anytime someone mentions LED accent or underbody lights Iinstantly think of that "thing" flashing away in the parking lot.

I have blue leds raking the motor also one on each Side of front wheel and one each side of the rare wheel total of 14. I get more people stopping and looking at my ride when parked and the comments are always favorable. I really like them and really do not care what others think its one of my favorite mods. the key to a good job is to have them as invisible as possible I also used a little silicone when installing

Nikon
That is an awesome look and kinda what I was thinking about. I thought the blue would look good on the blue and silver bike. Thanks for the pix!

Nikon,
That does look nice, I especially like that you can't see the lights themselves, something that is a real turn off for me.
Using them to light up parts of the bike (chrome) on the other hand can be done, like you did, very tastefully.
Congrats, ya done good.

I've seen a few done up, which look really cool. When it accents the BIKE, I think it can be a great thing. However if it is added as more of a "look at me, look at me!" item, then it is chez fromage!! (ie. the 'Wing owner Citoriplus mentions...sounds like a "lam, lam" to me...and that isn't a slam against 'Wing owners...I'm one myself...) In the immortal words of John Lennon, "Whatever gets your thru the night". If you dig it, then it's cool. To hell with what anyone else thinks. (Although everyone likes to hear compliments about their ride...)

Well pinball machine or not, they do add a different look if placed right.
These are the ones I have installed:
http://www.customdynamics.com/wizard...ent_lights.htm
I have the Super Kit, and YES, they do change color, strobe, or just flash. They look awesome, and come in handy on certain Holidays. Like Halloween, from parking the bike with say it strobing with the rest of the crap on the front of the house, when I go out with the kids, I take the bike all dressed up, with the red leds glaring, kinda EVIL looking, LOL.
Then X-mas with say green or blue glowing, while riding around with the Santa suit on......LOL
Overall i'm happy, and am going to be adding more. Bottom line, different strokes for different folks!
