Because I need to be comfortable or I wont ride?
Also, most of them dont have the black kit that I want
Dealer by me could prob order it, may take awhile.
Also, a bit of concern for me is that I have a center bar mounted tach.
not sure, if that would make or break the deal, I dont want to give up my tach.
Ill update u guys if I decide to get a black kit

ETA: looking at Ronin's pic above, I could prob just leave the riser cover off and keep the tach.
we'll see.

I'm a lucky sob...wife ordered the gloss black nacelle online and it was out of stock til next week. So she called up my local dealer and they actually have one in stock! She got it for me today as a gift.
I luv my wife
Anyway, Just thought I'd share some pics. (Since we were both concerned about the riser cover) I actually left the cover off, because of my tach. IMHO you can leave it off , esp if you think you might have issues with your risers. It's more of a "cosmetic" cover.

Transforms the bike.. gives it that old school FLH look. In fact, if you changed your seat to say a solo seat... and went with a black oil cooler (the one from the cross bones is cool with the ribs)... love the heritage wheels too.. cept Id go with black rims on those and maybe a red pinstripe
... leave the spokes and centers chrome.. oh yeah your bike would look even more bad ***. wheels and headlight are on my list.. and thanks.. I dont see an issue at all in not using that riser cover. You are lucky all around, great looking bike.
EDIT: those are stock heritage bars right? Although, they look a little shorter.. Im thinking about going with those for even more lean back.

I ike the solo look, but lately I've been going 2up alot with the wife and kids.
Only thing left is a trim ring for the front, a black one to finish the look
