Default Passenger Peg Pillars

I replaced my standard 2-up seat with a solo (since the Mrs can't ride due to back issues). Also removed the passenger foot-boards. Looking for a chrome cap to put over the pillar that the passenger foot-boards were mounted on. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks.

Take them off. There is a bolt in the center of them that holds them on.

Then you can install a Hot topper over the bolt.

You can remove the bolt and either fill the threaded hole with a shorter button-head chrome bolt, or a black plastic plug. Either should be available at your local hardware store. Or you could dab some black paint onto a q-tip and paint the hole's treads (so rust will not set in) and just leave the holes open. I would go with either of the first two solutions...

Ride safe.

Thank you to all. Have already taken the pillars off the bike and will do something with the threaded holes. Terrific forum and advice.
