At this time of year, two weeks can make a big difference even in my part of the south. I'm riding comfortably in the day with a tee and leather vest. Late evening and night calls for a leather jacket and gloves. That's on a naked Slim, no windshield or anything else to protect from the elements. We're looking for or 1st frost by the time 2 weeks pass so that means early to mid-morning and dark thirty will be cold but ridable if you dress for it.

If I were you I would look to the mid to the southern tip of Fla. or the gulf coast. I guess from Iowa the west coast we be just as close. I just prefer southeast to anything on the west coast. My friends in Mtrtle Beach are still enjoying early fall like riding weather.

Check the extended forecast with NOAA and then roll the dice. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Stay safe.

In Wisconsin so I can't help you there, just wanted to say I envy your opportunity and have a safe trip. Sounds like the perfect time to just point in one direction and see where it takes ya.

Just google weather and just about any site that comes up will allow you to input any city and give you the forecast.

In South Florida we typically see low to mid 80's during the first part of November. Typically we will see mid 70's by the end of November. I can't wait. Good riding weather is finally here and its getting better all the time.

I'll second S Florida for November. Humidity should decrease but temps stay great till about Christmas, January to March gets some colder days and nights, some years colder than others.

Come to Florida it only gets cold for couple weeks in February. November is mostly mid 70-80 great for riding. I recommend the ride across the bridges from Ft. Lauderdale to key west- awesome.

Last year I left the second week of November from the 4 Corners area of SW Colorado to SoCal. It was a glorious 65* and the only weather I hit was a slight bit of rain just west of Flagstaff. 3 days later I rode back in 25* weather and hit snow in Flagstaff. Froze my ***! So, my suggestion is to go South of I40 (which can be a relentless bitch with weather this time of year, especially in AZ or NM) and hit someplace like Austin, Albuquerque, or Phoenix. Vegas should be ok but remember that you take the I40 through Flagstaff, which is at 7500'. The other option would be to go through Phoenix and up. But, as long as you watch the weather like crazy and have a "plan B", you should be ok! HTH.
