Riding in weather can be interesting ... on a recent trip through Reno in late Spring I took this pic on my GPS. As you can see I was riding through rain, snow, and mixed percip. Temps got down to 28* F before I stopped for the night ... heated gear saved the day.

Whatever you do just stay away from higher elevations. The weather in the higher elevations this time of year can be extreme.

Right now, we have mid 70s during the day and no clouds and upper 40s at night.

The weather forecasters can't get the weather right here so there is no way I would make a forecast just to have someone complain later. All I can say is that I'm still riding in a t-shirt. Mornings are the coldest around 5am.

My phone shows 85F right now and according to my phone, temps won't dip below the 80F until next Monday. However, this website shows...

October Avg high 82F, low 54F.
November Avg high 67F, low 43F.

The temps across the valley can also very as much as 10F.

If you want to ride somewhere hotter, Lake Havasu City, Arizona (London Bridge) should be slightly warmer. I was going to go there this past Saturday, but another party only wanted to ride down as far as Kingman since we were in Chloride longer than anticipating. On the way back, it probably hit 90F on the highway. Felt great. Then next day, we rode north a ways.

FYI, there are a couple of places that rent bikes (including the dealerships). I also recently read that Enterprise Rent-A-Car will start renting out Harleys in a new pilot program launched here in Las Vegas.

No problem. FYI, there is a veteran's festival in Laughlin Veterans' Day weekend. Should be warmer there as well. I'll be riding down right after SEMA ends.

Well, if you change your mind & head to Florida, I like the riding in the northern half of Florida. Roughly Daytona over to Crystal River and up. There is not anywhere as much traffic as South Florida and it seems easier to get out of the city and on to some nice roads. But US 1 down to the Keys is a nice run, and Key West is an "interesting" place. Temps in Nov in will probably be 5-10 degrees less than the Miami area. Wherever you go, have a safe and fun trip.
