Deluxe owners only question. What is the fastest you have ever been on your bike. I ask this because I have over 5000 miles on the bike but my top speed was only 80 mph. I have my Ducati Sport Classic 1000 for a week and I have had that over 90 twice. The Deluxe just seems to be happy in the 55 to 70 mph range.

 

I've been up to about 90.

I buried the speedo once and then some for about 20 seconds 120 miles per hour maybe more. I was on I95 near old saybrook Connecticut. I was uncomfortable at that speed thinking what if and I let off.I was also worried that the windshield would blow off and come back at me. I had to see if i could bury the speedo mission accomplished and i do not think I will be trying that again soon its kind of stupid.

 

A little over100 and there was some left. No windshield on at that time.

 

Faster than I oughta.
I usually ride around 70 on the slab unless traffic pushes me into the 80's.

 

Pegged my Fatboy several times - just got the urge.
70-75 feels good on the HWY

 

100 mph for a quick second, not sure what I was thinking when I did it. Had plenty left in it and the bike was bone stock at the time. I'm usually a conservative driver.

 

Max was 75mph.....Speed demon days are over for me....

..had my FXSTC up past 115...didn't really feel like looking down at speedo at that speed..
