The first pics of the black Lux, the vertical plate bracket looks like a Kuryakyn curved side mount plate bracket: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/534-...FUtp7AodPgwAfQ

But in the OP's pic, the bracket looks to be mounted on the upper part of the swing arm allowing the clearance for the fishtails. Is this an option that the Kuryakyn bracket allows, or is this a different bracket all together?

The kury part mounts to the tube of the swing arm so upr or lwr is your choice. The plate angle looks to be adjustable.
