Default Heritage brake line issue...

Out washing my bike today, I squeezed the brake and the damn brake line shot out of the master cylinder! I put the brake line up to the cylinder and it slide right in!?

That mount is a torx nut and threaded...it went in and was completely stripped out. I have never even touched thing before today...any ideas how this thing could have stripped out like this?

Incorrect installation by previous owner/mechanic. Or is it yours since new?

May want to check with H-D to see if this is a warranty issue.
