Beautiful transformation. I'm loving how it looks like a stock setup.

If you don't mind my asking, which mounting brackets did you use? And is the bottom of the bags above the rear axle nut?

I'm planning a similar mod for my deluxe and now in the process of changing pipes.

Just a hair above the rear axle nut, I used the cycle vision kit in black, the black kit matches the frame color and really blends in nicely. I have seen some with the filler strip and it makes the bike look more modern from the rear. The only issue was the stock seat was resting on the front lid of the bags because of the skirt but I had a sundowner in my garage and put it on and it clears by a inch.

Looks great man, Ive got a pair of hard bags for my fat boy. The only problem is the weather out here in West Texas has been perfect every weekend so they are stuck in a box in the garage.
