Default 2001 FLST Electrical Issue

My partners (carbed) 2001 Heritage was draining its battery for a while. Before I got to check out the issue we were coming back from a ride when her taillight.brake light and turn signals died. I notice also that the speedo is dead also with the needle stuck at 60 mph. The Accessories 15 Amp fuse is blowing instantly on turning on the ignition. The front spotlights dont work either. Headlight is ok. It starts and runs fine. Im inclined to think that the Turn Signal Security Module is involved. I need to go over it with a fine tooth comb to ensure there are no pinched or cut wires also. Are these common symptoms? Any suggestions on TSSM troubleshooting? Please bear in mind Im weaker when it comes to electrical diagnostics so if its not something obvious like a broken wire it will take me a bit longer to figure it!

Almost sounds like a short somewhere. Have you added any mods like a radio or heated grips? Keep us in the loop.

Im going to need to hunt for broken or frayed wiring. Hope its not a bad TSSM.

Did you change bars or controls? Could be a few things, but I pinched a wire on the right side hand controls and it did a lot of what your are describing.

Check the tire clearance under the rear fender as well. If the harness fell down the tire could have rubbed right through and shorted out the same group.
