Maybe you should post that 3 more times. Especially since it won't work for what he is trying to do. LOL

I am actually fairly confident that the frame is the same dimensions between the rocker and the slim, it's just the swingarm that is wider on the rocker for the wider tire. If the bolt holes on the sides of the frame just below the seat where your struts currently mount are open once you switch to the shade tree setup, then I think you could use the FXCW touring setup for a passenger. I looked at doing this same thing in the event I can ever afford a crossbones as a second bike. I personally love the swingarm fender mounted look, and in rough measurements, it appeared that I would be able to use the touring setup I have for my rocker to sit a passenger on a crossbones too. If you want to post the measurements of how wide the frame is under your seat, I will measure mine too. I will get some pics too of what the frame looks like where the touring struts attach, which as far as I can tell is where fender struts mount on all softails. Bottom line, I am willing to bet this setup would work.

It may bolt up but I wonder how it would look with that skinny tire and fender under that wide *** seat. Also, I am curious to see what the measurements of the frame are. From my rough measurements the frame on my Breakout is a bit wider than other Softails down where the exhaust mounts, but I never measured it where the struts mount.

I don't think it will bolt up right at all. And even if it does by some chance, that style seat really doesn't fit with the bobber look. JMHO.

I will post the measurements later tonight, but if I understand the OP correctly, looks don't matter since it will only be on for short periods of time. I wouldn't leave it on my bike as it doesn't look right there either, but it functions great. 2 mins, 4 bolts, my wife can ride with me. Then 2 more mins and 4 bolts, and the bike looks good again for the rest of the time when I ride solo.

If the measurements are different, then the OP will still have to find a solution, but I bet that HD doesn't make a different frame for each softail, rather they have a standard frame and make the different models from there. They all have the same motor/Trans combo for the same year, maybe just a different oil bag.

Looks like the frame is ~13.75" wide where the struts mount, and the holes for mounting the struts are raised a bit off the frame (at least for my touring setup it centers the struts), and the holes are ~3.8" apart.

I'm very curious now if all softail frames are the same (at least for the same year).
