Default What's my Deluxe worth?

Long story short I have been laid off for approximately a year and need to sell my bike. For those that have sold theirs have you seen any return on the aftermarket parts you have installed, say 20-30%? I have about 6-7000 in my 2007 Deluxe with 11k miles. I was thinking of listing it at $14,900 as low book on it is low 13's. what's your thoughts, am I high, low or right where it needs to be?

Sold my 06 deluxe on ebay for 21K. Sold it in 4 days also. I never thought I would get anywhere close to what I put into her. I put 6K in her and thought I would loose that as you do with a custom truck, but put it up there and almost got my asking price.

Just FYI..... Never know until you post it for sale bro. Id put it up for 20K and go from there. JMHO

P.S. Hope you get it worked out so you dont have to sell her, cause she sure is SWEET!!!!!!!

I'm not in the market, but would buy it at that price in a heartbeat. I paid more than that for my '08 Deluxe two years ago and then put a couple grand in additional upgrades. Mine came with custom paint and a couple grand of MoCo accessories. I love this style, and knowing what it takes to get to where yours is, would pay additional due to the visible upgrades. I wouldn't pay $20k though as I could buy a stocker and start from scratch at that price. HTH.

Thanks Country. That's a great price for your bike. It was one of my favorites. Not sure I want to go the EBay route as its unfamiliar. I have a few irons in the fire, things just aren't happening quick enough though.

Wouldn't hurt to start high, unless you really need to sell it ASAP. You never know, there could be someone on the other side of town looking for that style and ready to jump all over it for $17k. Of course if you need to sell sooner than later, then $14,5- $15k sounds reasonable to me....

In all honesty all the after market add on's do nothing for the price. If you get over $13,100 blue book value consider yourself lucky. Most people will look up the value of the bike and start low. Besides I think asking $17k for a 7 year old bike is crazy.

I wish you luck with your sale

If you can use this forum you can figure out Ebay. If you want top dollar Ebay gets your bike seen by more potential buyers than any other media. Just like with any other sale you don't release the bike until its paid and only take confirmed paypal or cash. No money orders no checks even cashier checks.

There will be a lot of differing comments, but you know what they say about opinions. They are like armpits and they all stink. lol Really, you can get a little feel about what us riders in the market think about when buying and stuff. But the truth is there are many variables that lead to the sale, the biggest is going to be your local market price. There is a decent baseline for the price tag, but in some areas it is much higher and other areas it is much lower.

It's all relative.... who wants it, and what they're willing to pay. My boss just bought an 08 anniversary deluxe with about 3k in add ons for 9600.
