If you're running Python slip-ons, your cats are already gone - they were in the stock mufflers...

Yes, I know .......... Wanting reinstall stock mufflers w/out cats & baffles, and install BCT baffles in head pipes before mufflers ........for an even more aggressive sound! If I'm not diggin it , I can go back to the pythons

I honestly don't see how installing the stock mufflers with all of the junk still in them will help your bike. Just my two cents.

My brother removed cats and baffles(rivets only! However I now have huge sound megaphones ( not good. He is going to try to reinstall just the 1 3/4 tube and weld an additional length extension , to make it full length ( no megaphone effect

If that works, BCT go in end of head pipe just before muffler............well , wel see if he can do it .........

Update :
Had my local dealer pull the python baffles and add original BTC baffles in the head pipe, just before the muffler. Amazingly LOUD!!! Will try em for a while, but may go to the the QQs. Had the QQs on my Forty-Eight, sounded GREAT! Thought I'd try the originals .......did I say they are LOUD!!!?
