Default Japanese Harley Softail (model)

Well, kinda. I just ran across this the other day on a website and thought I'd share. Tamiya is a Japanese model company that is world famous for the amount of detail that goes into their model kits. This is even over the top for them.

This is a kit of a Fatboy Lo that is absolutely amazine. Remember, this is a 1/6th scale MODEL...

Cut away views of the working rear and front suspension...

Engine cylinder assembly...

And the cost...?

Retail of $375.00

Street price of around $285.00

Yet, oddly, the pictures load when I copy and paste the link into a new window then do right click > Show image here in the forum...wth?

Yea, the detail is crazy! Even comes with cast metal tools for assembly! I want to build one...LOL Check out the gallery on the official Tamiya site:

Note that even things like the heat shields are seperate from the pipes themselves! Nuts!

This is a pretty reputable place to get it from:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LNDXGC

They also have discount codes each month which can get you $10-20 off. Tamiya models are some of the best in the world. The attention to detail that they put into their products is second to none.
